Do twins settle better as newborns if they share the same crib? Twins have spent the first nine months together and they recommend swaddling newborn babies for the first couple of months as well so that the baby feels like they are still in the womb. You can also do this for twins and they may settle if you put them in the same crib for a few weeks as they are used to sharing a small space together. You cannot do this in the double stroller like a Contours tandem stroller as the seats are separate but this could be a good way of communicating day or night. Daytime naps are separate and not swaddled and the night time is very calm and quiet and is swaddled snugly and together. Hopefully your twins will learn that night time is for sleeping and hopefully you will get lots of it yourself, eventually.
